Dear Ella,
I feel like I start my monthly update with the same quote “Where has the time gone??”
You turn 3 months old today and I find myself slightly sad it is flying by so fast but extremely excited to see what the next 3 months have in store for us. We feel so grateful to be able to be raising you one more month! We have found that the last 3 months are filled with moments that will forever be engrained in our hearts!
You tipped the scale at 11 pounds 6 ounces at our pediatrician appointment a few weeks ago. You still looks so petite but we are proud of how your are growing! You sure are putting on the weight! You are in the 67th percentile for your weight. You are still in the 90th percentile for her length. I wonder if you are going to be tall??? You are one lucky girl – you have the prettiest blue eyes to go with those long lashes! Beautiful!
You finally are able to giggle and it certainly is music to our ears. You had your first giggle with Daddy and he was so excited you saved it just for him! You get a kick out of hearing yourself. I think you think you are pretty funny. Today you were going to town giggling it sounded like you lost your breath! Silly girl!! Every time I get the camera out to capture those big smiles - you get so serious for the camera!
You love to play at your friend Elizabeth’s house. I think it is going to be fun to watch you guys play together in the years to come. And I know she is going to teach you a lot. You spend lots of time watching her as if you are asking “how does she do that?” You still love your bouncy seat and high chair. I think it is so you can look around and take in the world around you. You are so curious!
You have discovered your hands…I often find you staring cross eyed at them in front of your face. You are also learning to grab things….of course the first place they end up is in your mouth.
You have been sleeping in your big girl crib full time now since before Christmas. Good nights of sleep vary daily. You made Mommy and Daddy so happy when you slept 11 hours straight one night. Ahhh it was a beautiful thing!! You are still an early riser getting up at 5:30- 6 in the morning. I love our time in the morning together before the rest of the world wakes up. Its time I wouldn’t trade for any amount of sleep in the world. Some of my sweetest memories are those moments bright and early!
Mommy went back to work this month. I am sad to leave you but am excited to be using the talents God has given to me. But I tell you what…I love seeing that sweet face when I come home!! It doesn’t matter how tired I am from juggling work and home, that smile makes it all worth it!
We have so much to look forward to in the month ahead. Your Nonnie, great Nonnie, and hopefully Aunt Cookie will be visiting you soon. We have a girl’s weekend planned! Shortly after that Pop Pop will be coming up to see you again. We love having the house filled with family. You will be going on your first plane ride soon. We are all looking forward to our little vacation to Orlando.
You continue to thank God daily for the blessing of you!! You are such a sweet part of our lives and can’t imagine our life before you!

So sweet! And great pictures too..such a pretty girl. She's looking so big, I can't believe she's 3 months already! Time goes so fast, but the next 3 months are going to be a blast!
