As you can tell we have been so busy the past few weeks that this monthly celebration letter is a little belated! We celebrated your 4th month birthday in Orlando, FL. We had so much fun. We are so excited to take you back when you are older so we can go to Disney World with you!
You are growing like a weed. Your 4 month check up is next week. I can't wait to see how much you have grown. You are now wearing 3-6 month clothes and outgrowing them quicker than I can wash them, fold them, and put them away! You are wearing a size 2 diaper but spend most of your time at home in cloth diapers.
You are rolling from your stomach to your back. You haven't quite mastered the skill of rolling from your back to stomach but I don't think it'll be long. You roll to your side now. You squirm around in your crib so much that now we often find you facing a different direction then we laid you down in. You love to hold toys in your hands now and you put everything in your mouth now. If there are no toys around you'll put your hands in your mouth. You love your exersaucer and you light up when you make the music go off.
You loved the pool in Florida! I can't wait to take you swimming again this summer. You went through a period this month where you hated your bath but not after you went swimming. I think it reminds you of the pool. As soon as you hit the water your legs start kicking. You don't stop kicking and splashing until I take you out of the tub. I wonder if you are going to be a swimmer one day??
OH your sweet smile lights up our lives! You have two little teeth (bottom/front) making your smile extra cute these days! I wonder if you are going to get more soon?
You giggle so much now. Daddy can almost always make you giggle. If he looks at you and giggles, you start giggling right along with him. It is too funny! Speaking of Daddy, you are turning into quite a Daddy's girl these days. You light up when you see him! Warms Mommy's heart for sure!
You are turning into our little comedian.You often start laughing for no reason at all. I was changing you the other day and you just started laughing. You always bring smiles to our faces!
This past Monday (March 7th) we tried giving you brown rice cereal. You aren't too sure about it yet. Although you won't take spoonfuls of it yet it has definitely sparked your interest in watching us eat. You seem to really watch what we put in our mouths and a couple times I have found your mouth moving with mine. I love watching the wheels turn as you take in and learn about the world around you.
You are sleeping pretty good. Some nights are better than others. Some nights you seem to miss Mommy and Daddy so much that you want to see us every hour from 2am on! You are a pretty good napper during the day. This past Sunday morning Daddy and I woke up listening to you play and giggle in your crib. You were having a grand 'ol time in your crib at 5:30 in the morning! You have done that a time or two since. You wake up in such a good mood! I can't help but be in a good mood after seeing your smiling face starring up at me when I come to get you out of your crib!
Ella, you bring so much joy to our lives! We think we are the luckiest Mommy and Daddy out there to get to raise you one more month!
