Congrats to Daddy for reaching 1,000 hour mark in the F-16!! We are so proud of him! To his surprise we were all there to greet him with some time honored traditions. It included being sprayed down with champagne and a fire hose. I am not sure who was in charge of the fire hose (hehehe)...Hey, it was in true Air Force tradition!!! I thought it might be disrespectful if I didn't comply! Jason resisted a little but mostly took the harassment with honor! After all, 1,000 hours in a fighter jet is no small feat!
We all had a great time! I love to watching him fly anytime I get the chance. They flew over a few times so I got to see him a couple of times. It was Ella’s first trip of many I am sure to the flight line. She wasn’t so sure about the hearing protection I made her wear but otherwise was very interested in what was going on.
Congrats to you Jason!
Here are some pictures of the monumental occasion!
“Do they make these headsets in pink?”
