After so much anticipation Ella has finally made her first “steps” towards crawling. On June 6th, I was packing to leave my Nonnie’s house in Florida and I put Ella on the bed to play while I packed up. I looked over to find her raising one hand, then a knee, her other hand then her other knee. My Mom was there too and we just looked at each other and said “Did she just crawl?” How great that we had so many family members there to witness the big day! She hasn’t taken off yet but it won’ t be long. Her sheer determination paid off….she is quite proud of herself. She takes a few “step” then looks up to wait for her applause or camera flashes…then off to try again! This is certainly a game changer for us….baby proofing here we come!
