Happy 8 months and 2 week birthday! Mommy keeps getting later with these blogs updates! It is because I spend my days chasing a very fast crawler!

You have taken off….and there’s no looking back. I vaguely remember those days when I’d put you down on the floor, turn around, and you’d still be there. Now if I take one eye off of you….you are long gone! You went from crawling very cautiously to crawling like a big girl. You are fast! The week after you started crawling you also started to pull yourself up. I was so surprised to find you standing up leaning on a chair just a few short days after you started crawling. Baby proofing has taken on a whole new meaning….you seem to find everything you shouldn’t have. You find electrical outlets I didn’t even know we had. It is so exciting to watch you go! You are quite a go-getter!

You are enjoying the summer. You love swinging at the park at the beach. This was the first year since I have lived here but we got beach passes. We are enjoying making the most of them! We often go with your friend Elizabeth and Miss Tiffany. Mommy and Daddy are training for a 1/2 marathon in September so you have enjoyed going for our morning runs in your stroller. You enjoy looking around and watching to world pass you! We have been enjoying swimming. Whether its in your kiddie pool in our backyard, at the beach, at Grandma and Pop Pop’s house, or in Florida with Uncle Rusty and Nonnie, you love it all the same! You love splashing the most.

You are eating all sorts of fun things. Egg yolks are your new favorite finger food. You are eating yogurt, papaya, peaches, tahini, and lots of veggies. We will be starting more meats throughout this next month. No wonder you are growing so quick! You are now over 17 pounds based on our scale at home.

Well, little busy bee…what a fun month it has been. I can’t wait to see what the next month has in store for us!!
